Cool Climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

Bended Knee Vineyard

Bended Knee Vineyard:

Established in 1999, Bended Knee Vineyard is located on a north facing slope of Mt Buninyong, an extinct volcano 15 km south-east of Ballarat.

Our wine making philosophy is about producing elegant, food friendly wines that reflect the cool climate where the grapes are produced. Like the vineyard, the quantities of wine produced are tiny - but focussed on quality.

In just a short time, our wines have already been discovered by some smart restaurants. If you want to unearth where to find our wines, visit where to find our wines. We hope you will enjoy them.

What’s New?

In recent months, we have added a list of events that may interest you, some ideas on things to cook in the kitchen, and a very basic blog of what is happening in the vineyard and winery.

James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion.

We were quite pleased to receive a 4 star rating on our first listing in this “bible” for those with even a passing interest in Australian wines. The 2008 edition released in late July, rated the Bended Knee Riesling and Chardonnays at 4½ glasses and the Pinot Noir at 4 glasses.
